Lusid Fine Coily Hair

Type 4A has distinctive ringlet-shaped coils, which means natural oils from the scalp can struggle to reach mid-lengths and ends. Avoid chemical treatments like hair dyes and bleach, as well as heat damage from straighteners, as this hair type is prone to frizz and breakage.

We have created formulas for coily fine hair that work with its natural shape, not overwhelming it, and styling products that won't weigh curls down. Hydration is important to keep this delicate hair type happy and healthy.

 

 

Style: To enhance curl definition, we recommend our Lusid Curl Crème Gel, which will hydrate the curl and cast without the crunch. Using too much product can make your hair appear greasy or oily, so avoid excessive application; just use a pea-sized amount for fine hair.

 

We recommend applying Lusid Smoothing Serum to damp or wet mid-lengths or ends of hair to combat frizz with smoothness and shine. Our Lusid Detangling Leave-In Conditioner is a 'must-have' styling product for delicate, coily, fine hair.

To refresh your curls, add a mixture pea sized amount of Curl Defining Crème Gel with and mix with a pea sized amount of Detangling Leave-in conditioner and apply in sections to damp hair, and scrunch but add extra Curl defining cream where there is frizz.
